supported by | New IKEA Warehouse supplied with climatization from heat pumpsApr. 29, 2008 - In a recently opened IKEA warehouse in Karlstad (Sweden) 85% of the heating demand and 75% of the cooling demand is supplied by heat pumps. 101 holes, each 120m deep, provide 1.200kW of heating and 800kW of cooling. Due to the success of the installation, IKEA plans to equip further new warehouse buildings with heat pumps.
