Canada's Budget 2008 proposes to include ground-source systems

Aug. 12, 2008 - The Canadian GeoExchange Coalition (CGC) welcomed yesterday's announcement that the Federal Government intends to broaden Class 43.2. Budget Plan 2008 includes GSHP systems used in applications other than industrial processes or greenhouses, for the first time.

The Budget will extend Class 43.2 to include applications such as space and water heating in industrial, commercial and residential buildings used for an income-earning purpose.
