supported by | "geoJETTING" drilling technology developed by the Bochum University of Applied SciencesSep. 12, 2008 - A team at the Bochum University of Applied Sciences (Germany) in cooperation with Vaillant has developed a new drilling technology for heat pumps. The team of Prof. Rolf Bracke from the universities "GeothermieZentrum" received the prestigeous "Ruhr 2030 award" for this innovation. The technology uses water at high pressure to "cut" the whole into the ground. The soil is completely solved in water and pressed into the surrounding area. This technology increases the efficiency of geothermal drilling. It will be distributed by Vaillant geoSYSTEME GmbH, a service provider of Vaillant GmBH, Remscheid.
